HYPNOTHERAPY FOR DEPRESSION

Many people would recognize the signs of depression, including an overbearing sadness or sense of hopelessness.  But what if a person just started getting stomach aches or they suddenly seemed to have a short fuse.  Could that person be depressed without knowing it?

At any time, about 5% of the population or approximately 15 million Americans are afflicted with depression.  Despite the number of people who are depressed, doctors still can't figure out why people get this way. If often presents itself differently with different people.

Identifying depression is key in it's treatment and often needs attention from different areas in order for a person to return to their happier selves. The sooner you begin treating, the sooner you'll feel better.

Depression can express itsself in different ways. There might be pain, weight gain (however, losing a lot of weigth can trigger it too), grumpiness, anger and hostility are well-known signs of depression.  Then there are people who feel nothing - numbness. Others will have a couple more drinks than usual, daydreaming, excessive Facebook use, confusion and poor grooming can also be significant signals that someone is suffering from depression.

Hypnotherapy can be extremely helpful in discovering triggers that might be occurring and also helping to alleviate the condition or control it better.
