For the past 15 years, I’ve been working with people to build their confidence. They’ve had one characteristic in common – they didn’t take risks.
People who feel stuck often have an area of their life where they could use more confidence. They often don’t have a positive belief in their abilities or their intuition. Self-doubt has crept in and they loiter in comfort zones.
In contrast, people with more confidence take more risks. They’re willing to fall or fail because they know that’s how they will learn how to move forward.
In a world that’s changing so quickly, you’re guaranteed to fail if you don’t take risks.” Mark Zuckerberg
Are you willing to take more risks in 2017? Are you going to make this year, the year of getting what you really want?
Three Risks Confident People Take
- The risk of failure – includes the humbling emotions of disappointment, humiliation, broken heart, etc. However, this risk has rewards – being loved and living life to the fullest.
- The risk of responsibility – includes having no one to blame. Taking responsibility for your decisions and outcomes keeps you from playing “victim.”
- The risk of letting go – includes releasing the past, including the negative experiences instead of using them to hold you back,,
If you’re already taking these risks, you’re a badass. However, if you’re struggling with any of them, or something similar, that’s natural. Why not contact me for a chat?
