Welcome.
My goal is to help your mind and body work together in a calm, supportive way. To create a positive experience, here is what you can expect when working with me, and what I ask of you in return.
What Hypnotherapy Is
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that helps the nervous system settle so the mind can let go of what is no longer useful. You remain awake, aware, and in control of your experience. You are not “put under,” and nothing is ever done without your participation.
Hypnotherapy supports:
- nervous system regulation
- pattern change through relaxation
- emotional ease without suppression
- inner resources you already have
What Hypnotherapy Is Not
Hypnotherapy does not:
- erase emotions or memories
- override your values
- remove habits without your involvement
- replace psychotherapy or medical care
Hypnosis is not emotional anesthesia.
It does not “stop feelings.”
Instead, it helps the body process them gently and safely.
Your Role
For hypnotherapy to work, your participation matters. You may be invited to:
- notice a sensation or breath
- name a simple feeling
- describe what is happening inside your mind or body
- follow gentle suggestions with curiosity
These are not psychotherapy questions.
They are part of the hypnotic process and help your mind work with the session, not against it.
You do not need to get it right.
You simply need to be willing.
Emotional Stability
If you are currently in crisis, experiencing extreme emotional distress, or unable to tolerate brief self-awareness, hypnotherapy may not be the best fit at this time. Hypnotherapy can complement psychotherapy but does not replace it.
If it becomes clear that a different support would be more helpful, I may refer you elsewhere. This ensures that you receive the safest and most effective care for your situation.
Safety and Ethics
My responsibility is to provide a professional, calming, and supportive environment.
Your responsibility is to:
- participate with curiosity
- take ownership of your reactions
- allow gentle emotional awareness
- understand that hypnosis is not a passive cure
- recognize that healing is collaborative
By choosing hypnotherapy, you agree to these expectations.
Together we create results that last.
